In this role, the selected candidate will assist in the coordination and activities surrounding inventory control, accounting and analysis including but not limited to cost control, physical count, perpetual and general ledger accounting, obsolescence, and budgeting.
In this role you will responsible for basic quality services including: supplier evaluation and selection, verification of special process sources, part/product acceptance (inspection) planning and verification, manufacturing process and quality plan review, defect analysis, timely root cause and corrective action implementation. Travel to suppliers is required; travel frequency will vary based on program requirements and can be both domestic and international.
In this role, you will responsible for the tactical procurement responsibilities in any of the following commodity groups: Castings, Forgings, Machined Parts, Fabrications, Plastics, Rubber and Standard Commodities.
In this role, you will collaborate with various University departments and external vendors to procure the goods and services that are required to run the University. The selected candidate will also have experience in mining and analyzing data to drive business decision.
