Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Provide advanced technical system expertise; oversight and accountability for resolution of university network outages, service level issues, and user support needs in coordination with other technology teams.
This position is to resolve priority/urgent networking issues across the Stewart organization. To work with other team
members to diagnosis and troubleshoot problems that occur within the network infrastructure, offer advice and guidance
to design, implementation and growth for the infrastructure.
Administer, maintain and support of the security, availability, and performance of the network systems that include routers, firewalls, switches, circuits and servers evidencing strong knowledge of security, switching, and routing technologies
Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network systems.
