Coordinates the report needs with the Accounting department to ensure general ledger reporting capabilities provide the necessary data; stays abreast of federal and state regulations to ensure reports are filed in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
The Senior IT Business System Analyst will establish an overview of the requirements defined by the business including the definition of business, technical, and architectural requirements. They will recognize any inconsistencies, assumptions, and critical elements during the requirements gathering phase.
Conduct quality assurance for the forecast process, interacting with economists, programmers, and other professionals responsible for producing the company-EA econometric forecasts for five property sectors, capital markets forecasts, and other company-EA products.
Perform in-depth analysis of online traffic for Web, mobile, and social channels to make recommendations for improvements in sales, acquisition and engagement strategies, remarketing tactics, and customer experience.
Create business requirements documentation, including summaries of current business workflows, statements of business needs that include illustrative examples, proposed solution descriptions that include mockups of potential designs, and flow diagrams summarizing updated system flows.
Develop and maintain relationships with others in the tax department and the broader finance organization in order to facilitate information gathering and increase one's own understanding of business policies, and corporate initiatives and their tax impact.
The ideal candidate will be able to function with a great deal of independence, work across the organization with many stakeholders including senior leadership, and possess advanced analytical abilities.
