The Project Scheduler is responsible for providing administrative and functional support for project and production operations. In addition, the Project Scheduler will maintain a project database that contains all deliverables tracking information and will also schedule and track jobs.
The primary function of this position will be to work with the program office to translate project deliverable requirements into procurement plans based on the latest delivery dates in a programs integrated master schedule (ims). This person will plan, monitor, and support material availability throughout the procurement, manufacturing and test phases.
The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for scheduling the work force productively through effective job planning. They will be a liaison between building occupants and Maintenance Departments for logistics concerning facilities assets and manpower availability and will assist operations in developing a structured work plan to ensure efficient and effective use of available resources.
In this role, you will prepare reports on the progress of projects. Ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
The role of the Planner/Scheduler is to improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for overall program scope and schedule integration including the Integrated Master Schedule/Plan (IMS/IMP) creation, baseline, and change control.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with superintendents, subcontractors and other project team members to accurately represent the impact of change orders and or delays to the project schedule.
