The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for a defined group of patients according to the hospital's philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice.
In this role, you will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Perform all aspects of clinical practice according to standards of care, including, but not limited to: assessment, planning, implementing, evaluation, intervention, organization of work, priority setting, decision making, follow - up, activities of daily living, IV Therapy, EKG's.
In this role, the selected candidate will approve or disapprove time or personnel schedule changes in the absence on the Clinical Manager ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures for documenting time of work hours for staff members on assigned shift.
Coordinate total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with other nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.
The Packet Review / Quality Improvement ( PR / QI ) position is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is responsible for the review and approval of all patient information that is provided by the Licensed Professional during a Start of Care, Recertification, Resumption of Care, or Evaluation visit.
