The Associate Producer supports Producers with all phases of project from pre-production to post-production including, but not limited to, scripting, travel and lodging, booking crew, call sheets, daily shoot schedule, and day to day pre-production and administrative needs.
In this role, you will collaborate with team members across capabilities to define project requirements and forecasting, as well as help to manage client budgets, project scoping and invoice resource management.
In this role, you will be responsible to work closely with programs executive producer to determine the composition and flow of the newscast, to select video, to write and copy-edit stories. Make certain program elements abide by company.
In this role, the selected candidate will create and manage detailed creative briefs and project plans to effectively communicate project expectations to team members, stakeholders and clients, ensuring that all deliverables deliver on time and on budget.
In this role, the selected candidate will set appointments and personally meets with prospects and clients, conducts in depth dialogue and develops a positive business relationship built on mutual trust.
In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate efforts of Anchors, Reporters, Editors and other staff toward crafting a compelling newscast; develop day-to-day on-air look of the newscast to attract the largest available audience to the stations profitable newscasts.
