The role of the Buyer is to source and manage the procurement of all materials, engineering services, equipment, shipping, safety and subcontractors necessary for the successful and timely completion of projects.
Performs complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials; expedites as needed and serves as liaison between vendors and users, getting prior approval for purchases in excess of established limits.
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory; reviewing and applying inventory activities, including movements and deletions, maintain and update inventory records, implementing efficient inventory management procedures such as conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, implementing loss prevention measures and report any stock issues to management.
