Ideal candidate should have at least five years experience in networks with routing and switching in an enterprise environment including network security systems, (need experience with the latest Cisco Switch Family).
Experience with a broad range of communications equipment, tools and services to maintain the network including but not limited to : routers, switches, WANs, LANs, VLANs, WLANs, Sniffer, Wildpackets, Wireshark, Etherpeak, Cisco Prime 2.x &MSE & Blue coat Reverse Proxy Servers, Solar Winds, ACS Version 5, Kiwi Server, HSRP, IPSEC, Cisco Nexus/VPC, thorough and in depth knowledge of MS Visio and Cisco 5500 Series WLC.
Assist with the design, deployment, and configuration of multiple commercial network security products, including CISCO, F5, and Palo Alto, platform connectivity, and interfaces to commercial Cloud services, such as Microsoft and AWS.
Design, combat system and platform architecture design and integration, operational analysis and simulation modeling research and development, software intensive system engineering, cyber solutions and algorithm development for signal processing, tracking and discrimination systems.
Provide network system engineering support to a variety of sponsor and research based projects including design, development, integration, and implementation activities in support of Internet Protocol (IP) network systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain the network security system infrastructure uptime, manage device policies, troubleshoot configuration issues and maintain integration with centralized log management and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) related infrastructure.
Participate in design, engineering, analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting of companys network infrastructure and services, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WiFi, VPN devices, WAN protocols, and knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as BGP.
