Seeking Attorney to handle all aspects of Insurance and Reinsurance coverage analysis, litigation and arbitration activities for long-tail liability business portfolios including asbestos, environmental and construction defect cases.
The successful litigation paralegal will be detail oriented, thorough, and deadline sensitive. There is opportunity to assist with trial preparation and on occasion attend trial. Handling discovery, drafting motions and complaints, preparing for trial. Medical chronologies, retaining experts.
The ideal candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of commercial and residential foreclosures in Connecticut, including court document preparation, including but not limited to, drafting basic pleadings, such as motions for extension of time, scheduling orders, and status reports; and organize exhibits for briefs.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience reviewing, investigating, and managing claims related to environmental, toxic tort, catastrophic injuries, construction defects, molestation or similar to advise on severe commercial general liability claims.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing electronic reviews of evidence; analyzing and reconstructing fraudulent transactions, complex transactions, financial statements, etc.
