The Estimator must do due diligence to reduce risk, define the bid using all information provided in the bid package and base the bid on solid data; consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates.
The selected candidate will maintain strict adherence to company standards as related to estimating and project management. Solicit, qualify and negotiate quotes with various vendors in an effort to obtain the most economical cost for supplies, equipment and sub-contractor labor.
In this role, the selected candidate will review and comment on project documents, inclusive of lease and construction attachments, architectural and mechanical surveys, and jurisdictional requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure compliance with company standards, evaluate risks and client requirements. Ensure estimates are complete, well organized, and ready for review by the project team.
As the Electrical Estimator you will prepare electrical cost estimates for construction projects, or engineering services to aid management in bidding on or determining price of construction or service.
