The Staff Electrical Engineer performs broad based electrical design, development, review, and documentation. Success in this role is predicated on an individuals ability to contribute technically under FDA regulated medical device design process while actively contributing to work efforts and reporting project status to project management.

In this role, the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the engineering and design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, and limited special systems) for facilities such as K-12 and higher education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial buildings.
The PE will perform project management activities associated with budget and schedule planning, IPT team meeting coordination, product qualification testing, and hardware procurement coordination. The PE will be responsible for executing all Project Engineering standard work to support the IPTs projects.

This position is responsible for integration with IPT design, structures and Aero/Heat Transfer engineers, establishment of component validation requirements, as well as manufacturing and procurement/delivery of engine hardware within the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT). Special focus on rotor manufacturing risk mitigation and schedule execution for next generation HPC rotor design.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing technical specifications, development of project design basis, providing direction and guidance to drafters and designers, directing the flow of drafting and designer duties, insuring design schedules are met, including regularly providing project status updates to project engineer.
