In this role, the selected candidate will provide patient specific detailed education to patient/family/caregiver regarding nutritional status, adequacy measures and results, fluid status, and all nutrition related lab parameters pertaining to their disease process.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain dietetic registration, state-required credentials and/or licensure and continuing education requirements; conduct patient nutrition assessment on a population of lower acuity patients.
In this role, you will monitor adherence and response to nutrition therapy, adjusts therapy as needed to achieve and sustain an effective nutritional status, documents why the patient was unable to achieve the goals and implements the plan of care to address issues impacting the patients ability to achieve the goals.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
The Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional care of the customers in the center. He/she advises Administration and Food Service Director as needed on all clinical aspects of the Dietary Department.
In this role, you will provide medical nutrition therapy to a variety of inpatient patient populations and disease states while sharing your knowledge and recommendations as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
