The Database Platform Architect is responsible for analyzing business needs, defining the architecture for and participating in the delivery of technical solutions to complex business and technical requirements using database platforms like Oracle, SQL and Open Source relational DB.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a n experience in Database design / Architecture / Data Modeling for OLTP, ODS and Data Mart or Data Warehouse for Financial Application (such as Trading, Operational, Transaction Processing, Reporting).
This position is responsible for medium to high complexity data modeling, mining and warehouse initiatives for a whole domain(s). In addition, this position utilizes business and domain knowledge to obtain business requirements from end users, design solutions and document and communicate the solution for both business and technical audiences.
In this role, the selected candidate will troubleshoot database production problems and database connectivity issues; advance Database Performance Tuning Tuning Applications, Instance/Kernel Parameters and Tuning Memory.

In this role, the selected candidate will lead the development and ongoing support of the data-warehouse, data accuracy, process integrity, mapping, business rules, and synchronization between data-systems.
The Data Architect will play a key role to bring data and information to the forefront of the organization; the candidate should have experience architecting, designing and developing Data Warehouse/ Business Intelligence solutions as well as web applications.
This person will use the current tools on site but also make tool recommendations based on what is most efficient for the process (ETL toold, data replicator, certain methods); this person will also lead the team on the process that follows, including transformation of the data and various types of scripting.
Candidates should have a successful track record all aspects of database administration including tuning, cloning, debugging and setting up backup strategies in an Oracle EBS / Linux environment. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for solving issues, identifying process improvement areas and automating the database related processes as much as possible.
In this role, you will be responsible for SQL Server troubleshooting, resolving service outages, configuring and monitoring utilities, as well as general maintenance and enhancement to existing Database.
In this role, the selected candidate will be supporting and working with DB2 9.7 or greater on Unix and Linux, including multi-terabyte DB2 databases; collecting database statistics for forecasting, key performance indicators and SLA.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a strong background in relational databases and traditional data warehousing solutions, yet you have spent significant hands-on time mastering alternative data solutions either on behalf of your employer or on your own in order to understand the larger evolving data architecture landscape.
