The Assistant General Counsel demonstrates experience in general corporate matters, including but not limited to: corporate organization and governance, securities compliance, drafting transactional documents, and general contract management.
As General Counsel, you will be the key point person to ensure legal compliance in all areas of the business, limit our exposure, and offer counsel on topics such as contracting, labor and workplace issues, real estate, financing, and strategic agreements.

In this role, you will manage pegas global legal team, with the assistance of senior attorneys who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the teams primary functions: corporate and employment, business officers, deal operations, intellectual property, as well as other functions.
This position will be responsible for the negotiation, review & drafting of a broad range of commercial agreements, including supply, sales, marketing, distributor & sales agent agreements, licensing & procurement agreements as well as advising on mergers, acquisitions & dispositions, internal entity reorganizations and conducting due diligence.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for non-litigated insurance coverage activities such as research, opinion letters, claims and claims handling process and procedure development, etc.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing new federal and state (CT, MA and RI) insurance and health care laws and regulations impacting the Companys operations and assessing how such legal and regulatory requirements should be reflected in the Companys operations, policies and procedures.
