The ideal candidate for the Accounting Specialist role would be able to utilize their background in Accounting and/or Audit to play a key role in improving the overall control and process of multiple divisions.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the accounting and internal financial reporting related to assigned segments of company business. Act as the main liaison between the field and Corporate for accounting issues as they arise.
In this role, you will work closely with the senior loan accountant to assist with various functions of the department including the preparation of the monthly reconciliations of the g/l accounts, monthly analysis reports, and financial reporting. Position is based in the center moriches office.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure the multi-year financial impact of process improvement implementations as well as vendor engagements are well documented and traceable within the financial systems.
