The Quality Engineer monitors, maintains, and supports quality system requirements as mandated by customer requirements, ISO, AS and Nadcap certification. Responsibilities also include record management in accordance with plant, customer, and corporate record retention schedules.

In this role, the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the engineering and design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, and limited special systems) for facilities such as K-12 and higher education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial buildings.
Provide technical and product application support directly with customers and to the Manufacturers Reps (Reps), Authorized Distributors (ADs), and Vertical Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to help drive opportunity creation, new business wins, and overall sales growth in the assigned territory.
This position is responsible for all aspects of an automation project from conception to installation and testing. This includes functional design, control component selection, bill of material generation, electrical design of interfaces and control enclosures, programming, installation oversight, safety system design, testing and support. Complete integration often includes understanding and sometimes troubleshooting of the processes that will be controlled.
The Electrical Engineer develops, plans, organizes, and manages capital, reliability, and process improvement projects for areas throughout the plant; provides maintenance and production support, as needed.
Performs basic systems development and design work that may include logic design; I/O design; firmware development; model formulation; computer architecture analysis and design; and analog or digital systems engineering.
