The paralegal and claims manager will collaborate with the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer to proactively assess legal risks and find solutions to help the organization accomplish its short and long-term objectives and ensure that the organization conducts business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
In this role, the selected candidate will possess the ability to understand the client's business objectives and incorporate those objectives into and project those objectives in appropriate transaction documents
Work with the Legal Project Management/Legal Process Improvement team to help create process and task maps for typical US Real Estate matter types, to support the budgeting/pricing process as well as to provide on-line process maps with links to useful content and resources.
Draft documents for commercial sales/lease deals which include escrow instructions, estoppel certificates, tenant notices, requests for consent, corporate authority documents, UCC statements and attachments.
Serve as the principal legal point of contact for all real estate matters, including reviewing and revising commercial real estate leases, the sale and purchase of real property for commercial purposes and, when necessary, engaging and supervising specialized real estate counsel.
