This position will support the HR Team at Company in executing across a broad range of HR activities and initiatives to develop a team-oriented, high performance culture at our Call Center. The HR Generalist must have a professional, positive attitude with the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of individuals.
A Strategic Partner to the Business by building influential relationships with the Leadership Team and supporting the commercial agenda of the Business, contributing to all aspects of the Business from a people perspective.
Responsible for ensuring the implementation of various human resources programs and procedures in compliance with all Related policies and procedures and all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity and Human Rights statutes.
The HR Generalist provides consultation and/or facilitation in the development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of human resources functions (e.g. FMLA, STD/LTD/WC, Training, New Employee Orientation, policy review and development) for assigned state agency.
Work closely with internal client groups on employee performance management, quarterly & annual performance assessments, and coaching managers on the development and performance improvement process for employees, and using sound judgment in decision-making and while formulating recommendations.
Leads establishment and maintenance of departmental/employee records, files, logs. Generates, reviews, distributes and/or maintains the most complex HR forms, documents and reports. Leads audit of data entered into HRIS system to ensure high data integrity and designs complex reports, graphs, charts.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the ongoing support of our global HR systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise (often in partnership with other Company department's systems teams), and providing support for new features/functionality for development, testing, and implementation.
In this role, the selected candidate will communicate and partner with management/supervisors to resolve employee issues; respond to employee issues and maintain accurate notes, logs and records; respond to unemployment claims.
Work with business leaders to ensure there is a rigorous, effective performance management process for employees across the business, including production/metric reviews, performance feedback and performance improvement plans.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for generating leads through high sales activity, networking, prospecting, and developing a strong personal brand among West Michigan community connections.
Manage and deliver on unit specific projects, embed the adoption of Mars signature programs and P&O foundations into the organization, interface with Line Managers, and communicate emerging business needs to CoEs.
