The Director of Communications serves as the editor and writer for institutional projects such to include the annual report, institutional collateral, fundraising materials and capital campaign materials.
In this role, the selected candidate will serve as media spokesperson and coach leaders within the franchise; collaborate and work closely with Patient Advocacy, Medical and Commercial as well as corporate and government affairs teams.
In this position, you will develop key external and internal communications, including comprehensive communications planning, media relations strategy, thought leadership, press releases and internal communications tactics to promote business priorities.
In this role, you will be responsible to lead OIGs efforts to interact with community and advocacy groups, City of Chicago residents, the media and other key stakeholders in advancing the mission of the Office.
In this role, you will work creatively to generate ideas that drive and build support for internal campaigns and major internal events. The selected candidate will also develop and execute a range of both internal and external documents using current social media and digital platforms.
In this role, the selected candidate will use their customer-driven focus to determine best marketing strategies and then write materials that raise awareness and entice new customers, as well as engage existing customers all helping to drive company success.
