Ensure the quality and effectiveness of all corporate/enterprise-wide external communications, including: press releases, responses to media inquiries, speaking engagements, issues management, brand or advertising materials, corporate website, corporate social media, etc at the enterprise-wide and opco levels.
Coordinating with business unit communicators and corporate functional areas (e. g. human resources, legal, finance, IT, Supply, etc. ) to ensure proper employee communications strategy & message control.
Play a lead role in developing staff and cultivating talent at all levels by creating succession plans and career tracking as well as providing mentorship and serving as coach for trainings and on - boarding.
You will create an annual PR plan and budget that strategically aligns to the Brand's initiatives in the US and Canada, including media outreach programs, product placement opportunities, and development of PR content.
Develops and leads a comprehensive, strategic communications program with enterprise impact that includes work with government relations, corporate communications, and senior management. Implements strategies and tactics designed to educate and build relationships with the public, the media and key opinion leaders.
