The Category Manager III develops sourcing strategies for assigned categories (Marketing - Product, Innovations, Business Solutions) to drive cost savings and ensure the Company is making informed, best value purchasing decisions. Additionally, the Category Manager III is an informal leader on the Sourcing & Procurement team mentoring and assisting in the development of other team members.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of category business plans within assigned categories. Manage assigned assets to achieve category roles and results through category strategies that are executed via product assortment, pricing, promotion, shelf/fixture presentation, buying and inventory management decisions that are needed to achieve net profit goals and total customer satisfaction.
In this role, the selected candidate will finalize all data and organize sales story for presentation to Clients, Customers and/or Business Development Manager by developing business insights that are actionable.
