The Audit Staff position is expected to identify and evaluate risk, assist in the development of audit programs, execute audit tests, identify issues, identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness, work with management in developing action plans to ensure risks are effectively mitigated, and follow-up to determine adequacy of corrective actions.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning; fieldwork; reporting; and follow-up, assisting in the completion of audits on the annual audit plan and delivering projects within budget and expected timelines, with limited supervision required.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out internal audits to provide independent assurance of the effectiveness of internal controls, customer requirements and applicable international standards, such as ISO 27001.
The selected candidate will be responsible for most components of the regulatory financial and compliance examination, working from joint audit committe approved programs, including bank statement, safekeeping, carrying broker, clearing organization and equity system analysis.
