The Application Support Developer I is responsible for ensuring that the company's applications operate efficiently and execute successfully to meet client and business needs. This position involves production support, code analysis, and development work focused on the operational characteristics of the company applications.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in software development working with various technologies like Java 1.6+, Spring, Hibernate, angular JS, Web Services - SOAP and Restful, Junit, Servlet, Eclipse, Apache server, Linux, Unix, WebLogic server.
In this role, the selected candidate will define and implement new solutions for unknown production incidents of low to moderate complexity; interface with L1 and L2 support groups, providing assistance and guidance as required.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for full enterprise software development life cycle experience, High Volume / Large Data Environment; experience with complex queries, stored procedures, and ETL packages.
In this role, the selected candidate will design and implementation of RESTful web service APIs for use by both internal and external developers; design and implement data transformation processes to prepare data for use by the API.
In this role, the candidate will participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required.
In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate business problems, enhancement requests, and bugs to come up with new and innovative solutions; consult with various members of the technology team to ensure proper technical solutions are implemented.
In this role, the selected candidate will debug business rule applications to ensure that the implemented business logic is error-free; integrate decision services for managed execution within an enterprise environment.
