The F-35 Pilot Gear Field Service Logistics Representative shall be responsible to manage and maintain a centralized storage, distribution and repair warehouse to sustain the Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) and above and below the neck ensemble (jacket, trousers, coveralls, boot, gloves, etc.).
This position is responsible for the purchasing of commodities and services to support production and aftermarket requirements. Work includes reviewing requests; sourcing vendors examining price, suitability, and availability of items or services; comparing specifications; and reviewing alternatives. Work is performed independently under the general direction of the Supply Chain Manager.
In this role, the selected candidate works with other departments to resolve issues that arise with product quality, delivery and payment of invoices. Determines which suppliers are in need of specialized attention and arranges for the appropriate actions to be taken to provide supplier management.
