Develop and conduct tests and analysis such as hardness testing, grain size measurements, weld evaluations, microstructure analysis; conduct metallographic analysis and support for materials and manufacturing process development and implementation.
Serves as a primary technical interface with program management in a technical project leadership role and coordinates with technical staff in the development of solutions for aircraft sub-assembly test fixtures, structures, and stands.
The successful candidate may work on multiple projects and may work as a: Test Lab System Architect, Electro-Mechanical Test Design Engineer, Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) Design Engineer, or Production Equipment Design Engineer.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide technical instruction and direction to the manufacturing personnel (processes include extrusion, cabling, braiding, testing), sales, engineering, and maintenance.
