The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing industry expertise technical support and presenting technical solutions to the sales and business solution teams that result in retaining and increasing revenue and clients.
You will be responsible for building the core microsoft hadoop platform both on windows server and windows azure. This includes a broad range of areas such as the security, hadoop performance, .Net tooling, query optimization, service fundamentals, management and portal ui. Opportunities exist to work on any or all of them.
In this role, you will work closely with the design team to build and enhance internal tools that help designers efficiently deliver great user experiences for operating systems, games consoles and more.
You will distill the signal from the noise by defining complex data models to join telemetry from across Windows components, aggregate it in interesting ways, and communicate the data insights to answer key business questions and provide product insights.
You will be part of driving every element of the software development from early product definition through prototyping and scoping, iterative development, measuring and enhancing quality, rolling out to customers and supporting them with early releases, soliciting feedback and constantly improving.
Configure, operate and support information security tools related to Data Loss (DLP), File Integrity (FIM), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Static Code Analysis (SAST), Web Application Testing (DAST), Enterprise Anti-Virus (AV) and Vulnerability Scanning.
