The Electrical Power Systems Engineer will work as part of a team dedicated to specific projects and will perform electrical design engineering for spacecraft by preparing specifications, power distribution architecture, supporting analysis (modeling & simulation), and perform technical management.
Subsystem design, analysis, schematic capture, circuit board layout, prototyping, bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification and signal characterization, test and support through production and flight.
Develop, design, and implement electrical solutions for consumer electronic products including but not limited to schematic capture, part selection, PCB layout, analysis and validation of prototype systems that meet the goals of the product while managing constraints in space, time, cost, performance, power, signal integrity, timing margins, and manufacturing.
Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to determine root cause and remedy for all related issues. Assists with the preparation of proposals for new products, processes or special customer needs.
Plan and perform sales and marketing efforts to meet overall area sales goals of our full range of services including complete electrical distribution system commissioning and start-up services, acceptance and maintenance testing, project management, engineering studies, and electrical and safety training for the Service Center.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to navigate MS Office tools, web based systems and quickly learn and adapt to complex systems and product independencies to accomplish pointed tasks is an absolute requirement.
Work with the hardware team to conceive, design, evaluate, and produce new types of input, output, and platform hardware; work closely with contract manufacturers to produce prototype and production hardware at scales from tens to millions of units.
Regularly contribute to generating and maturing relevant ideas, concepts as well as to developing and engineering of products. This could e.g. be within new injection devices or adherence monitoring technology.
This activity will be done using all principles of good salesmanship, including personal client visits, telephone selling, group selling, territory and account management, plus participation in technical and professional associations.
Provide technical expertise in the development of embedded applications, microprocessor based instrumentation, component design including FPGA's, firmware design and development, etc., supporting the development of products.
