The ER RN - functions independently in performing the nursing process through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of safe therapeutic care for patients overt and covert needs and/or complications of treatment during his/her assigned shift.
The Nurse must demonstrate proficient skills using Oasis to admit, transfer, re-certify and discharge home health patients in regards to physician orders. Coordinate and supervise LVNs and HHAs in the delivery of patient care while following Medicare regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. Employees must successfully pass clinical math exam prior to orientation to unit.
