Gather and interpret customer business needs via interviews, business process analysis, surveys, site visits, use cases, task and workflow analysis, scenario planning, and by conducting workshops to elaborate requirements/specifications.
As part of our team, you will collaborate tightly with the development team, with focus on developing and maintaining many aspects of the core engine technology such as streaming, threading, memory management, sensor abstraction layer, communications, and lower level platform specific technology.
Design documentation generation, such as system engineering management plans, system requirement documents, interface control documents, interface design descriptions, integration plans, verification and test plans, test reports, etc.
Ensuring and maintaining the highest possible security standards and practices in accordance with company and IT security policies and procedures, especially as they relate to network, data center, and overall IT infrastructure security.
You will work closely with both hardware engineers and other software engineers to design, develop, and debug products and solutions based on our multimedia accelerator and mobile system-on-chip (SOC) devices.
The ideal candidate should have strong system definition, design and debug skills and should be comfortable with creating system specifications, defining key metrics, using scientific methods to measure performance, perform root cause and error analysis, collaborating with cross-functional team members to deliver high quality products and user experience.
Develop or implement open-source/third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats. Help to answer customers security questions and concerns as well as provide company-wide security guidance.
This role requires close collaboration with software engineering and QA . You are expected to build and maintain tools for continuous integration and delivery of software. You must be able to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues in our test and production environments.
