Works with Equipment Maintenance & Facilities team in assessing system needs and areas for improvement. Participates in identifying and analyzing options and recommends business process enhancements. Continually evaluates, establishes, and implements initiatives to streamline and automate processes.
The Manufacturing Organization produces antigen-based products in line with commercial cGMPs. The Purification Manager leads and oversees all functional activities associated with the Purification manufacturing operations in a multi-product GMP facility.
The purpose of this position is to partner with the plant management to provide accurate financial analysis/reporting tools, so they can make effective operational management decisions that lead to maximum operations while minimizing cost.
Provides leadership and direction to plant maintenance department. Responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations. This responsibility includes the facility, the corresponding utilities, as well as mobile plant and transportation equipment.
Manage the tactical execution of short- and long-term product development projects through the coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, timelines, methods, and staffing.
Collaborates with plant and senior management to utilize equipment to improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure.
Be responsible for reporting readiness and overall management of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the vehicle fleet, weapons, communication equipment, Night Vision Devices and the daily supervision of unit SAMS-E operators and Motor Sergeants for all supported units.
Provide support to the Customer within the Region to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment; participate in strategic planning sessions with the Sr Director Sales and team on a quarterly and annual basis.
Collaborates with the plant engineer and plant management team to utilize equipment to improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure (MOS).
At least 10 - 12 years of experience working with CNC equipment and precision machining operations
Have supervisory / managerial experience and a desire to move ahead from Plant Manager role to GM role - in other words initiative, desire to learn, and desire for advancement.
