The position is for a project within PG&E aimed at transforming the current Architecture practice within IT. The effort is driving a new organizational design, mission, roles & responsibilities, and success metrics for Architecture.
The primary responsibility of the role is to support the process to define the meaning and attributes of the canonical information entities across functions. Developing logical data models for systems working in collaboration with Business stakeholders, Solution Architects and development teams.
In this role, the selected candidate develops technical security standards, requirements and implementation of appropriate technology architectures to mitigate information security risks to the enterprise.
The Information Security Architect position is responsible for the establishment of and assessment against Information Security architecture policies, standards and guidelines to ensure that systems are designed and built in a manner that minimizes security risk while ensuring business needs are met.
This role require prior experience with taxonomy, content management and metadata tools. This role also requires strong communication skills to manage governance and change management requirements across the business.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead a variety of information security risk assessments, recommend mitigation strategies, and work with internal stakeholders to assign monitoring responsibility.
