In this role, the successful candidate will provide daily monitoring of all data center systems including but not limited to servers, workstations; provide first and second level support to the Gensler Help Desk for the Data Team.
In this role, you will develop, design and maintain highly available and scalable databases using MS SQL and other Database technologies. He / She will resolve production database issues, including database tuning, optimization and database recovery.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain database performance by calculating optimum values; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead in the design and implementation of application to application integrations; automate business processes with technology working closely with financial operations teams.
In this role, the selected candidate must have hands-on experience with Oracle Database Migration, Patching, Upgrades, admin utilities/console; and cloning test and development environments from production environment.
In this role, the selected candidate will design, enhance and maintain databases; the candidate shall monitor and improve database performance and capacity of existing enterprise database systems (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL).
In this role, the selected candidate must have working knowledge of networking and how it relates to database operations and connectivity, working knowledge of hardware, including RAID, multi-processor architecture, etc.
This role requires a service oriented mentality, high sense of ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues in alignment with any SLAs, establishing and maintaining communication with the project team to keep them updated with status of their requests, initiating and performing changes on development / production systems and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes.
