This position will be responsible for managing field work and working with remediation of manufactured gas plants and the remediation of other waste materials.
The Program Manager is responsible for seeking out, evaluating, and negotiating new development opportunities, including site identification and assessment, conducting financial feasibility analysis and developing financial pro forma documents; completing acquisition and obtaining financing for projects from a variety of sources, both public and private; handling the implementation of complex projects; managing the construction process and project financial management.
Direct and motivate teams through all phases of a single large project or multiple projects being managed by Project Managers and Project Engineers. Celebrate when things go well; problem solve when they dont.
Responsible for the provision and management of standardized systems, processes and templates for project execution and governance and regular reporting on project and portfolio performance to senior management.
Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure your team meets or exceeds the project delivery contractually and financially. Measure and report progress, but dont just look back. Develop tactics to make sure we stay on track.
The APM will work closely with Project Managers on the team to oversee multiple consultants and contractors performing investigation, design development, coordination with multiple on-site agencies and organizations, permitting, construction and commissioning.
The Project Manager will coordination with Owners representatives, monitor and report on scope, budget and program status; liaise with Owners team and contractor to establish and monitor all key project processes and risk register.
Assumes overall process and project responsibility to manage and administer projects from post-sale through project close-out in a team environment including the planning, scheduling, purchasing, logistics, and installation activities while keeping Lead Project Manager and Director of Project Management informed of progress and key events.
Responsible for escalating issues and concerns to management / senior leadership with viable solutions as appropriate to drive action for change, solicit support or make major modifications to existing plans.
Conduct detailed feasibility studies for proposed equipment and systems; review design and development plans; reviews cost estimates for completing the proposed projects and evaluates engineering proposals and specifications.
