The ideal candidate will possess a project/construction management, mechanical, electrical or technology background that enables him/her to undertake the challenges of sophisticated control platforms and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically in aligning building controls and automation with the larger objectives of the business.
In this role, the successful candidate will oversee the preparation of cost estimates, negotiate construction pricing and contractor cost estimates, budget and work timetables with design/build contractor.
In this role, you will have extensive knowledge of construction techniques, building materials and their use, construction documents and specifications, building codes, ordinances and laws regulating building construction and other pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations.
The successful candidate must have solid experience and a mix of commercial, institutional and government projects including offices; tenant fit-outs; renovations; new construction; universities; high schools, etc.
