This position requires an in-depth working knowledge across multiple technical disciplines and vendor products that include Data and Wireless communications, Backhaul technologies, Converging technologies, Broadband, LTE, CPRI, Packet Wireless, RF, IP, WDM, MPLS/VPLS and LAN/WAN integration.
Preparing the technical content of each quotation, including the generation of performance curves, completes technical data sheets, highlighted technical clarifications and exceptions to clients specification.
Escalate any unresolved issues to the proper vendor (CUSA, NT-Ware, Nuance, etc.) and act as the intermediary until final resolution is found; assist sales force in understanding solution selling process.
Assist Sales and Sales Management in the planning and execution of technical pre-sales and demonstration requirements for all accounts needing applications or technical pre-sales support, with a goal to define a closure plan and grow sales.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing industry expertise technical support and presenting technical solutions to the sales and business solution teams that result in retaining and increasing revenue and clients.
Key responsibilities will include providing marketing input for product development, coordinating the delivery of services by departments within the company, and proactively managing customer accounts in concert with the sales team.
Support technical development of the PeopleSoft HCM application using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Web Services, Integration Broker, Application Designer, Application Messaging, Application Engine, complex SQR, etc.
