The Senior ETL Developer is responsible for top-level technical coordination and design of complex SQL data transformation and warehouse systems in a large computing environment. Incumbent designs programs collaborating with key staff and faculty from various organizational units.
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
Responsible to ensuring that daily operations support and maintenance is performed related to Tableau infrastructure including: System Maintenance, Security Administration, License Management, Troubleshooting Tableau workbooks and Performance Monitoring.
Perform competitive analysis of other database management systems, other data integration solutions, and recommend Teradata product changes to close competitive gaps or to enhance competitive advantages.
In this role, the successful candidate must have advanced conceptual understanding of software development concepts, theory, and operations and have applied that knowledge in the implementation of new principles and concepts.
Provide technical application strategy and leadership in one or more areas. Responsible for designing and solving complex technical issues related to the resolution of business problems and opportunities.
Work with a team of world-class engineers, contributing to the overall design and architecture of the current and next generation of electronic health records system using software best practices, computer science and database fundamentals, and recent advances in big data platforms.
Should be capable of troubleshooting complex issues and drive the critical incident recovery; require to support different phases of production support operations, application life cycle right from requirement gathering to maintenance etc.
