This position requires collaborating with design engineering, by reviewing design data, identifying and resolving product and design issues; also requires an excellent fundamental concept of EMI/EMC and global standard/regulatory and testing techniques.
Takes the initiative to develop systems and processes that improve product safety; increase product consistency and conformance to requirements; improve production efficiency; reduce operating and scrap costs.
Implement, characterize, and optimize processes, mechanical tests, and fixtures/jigs for assembly, inspection and test through implementation of measurement systems, part inspections, MSA, and capability analysis.
