Perform assessment / data collection in an on - going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status, patient / family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
Provide timely and effective consultation to Case Management, Coding & Documentation Specialists, physicians, and other staff at the hospital, including concurrent assessments with documented determinations and observations.
The Compliance Auditor-Physician monitors and audits established mechanisms and controls to ensure compliance with regulations. Audits the activities of various departments for compliance with plans, policies and procedures prescribed by management.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Must possess pertinent skills with respect to preparing and delivering verbal and written presentations, including English language skills. Must demonstrate diplomacy, tact, a professional demeanor and an ability to relate to people of diverse demographic backgrounds.
May supervise Physicians Assistants to assure compliance of all applicable regulations. If Applicable instruct and direct the physicians assistant in the assistants duties, oversee and check the assistants work and provide general direction to the assistant.
