This position provides opportunities to support and lead product development initiatives for innovation, renovation and maintenance of established products in the Food Service, Kraft Foods Ingredients and Global Exports businesses.
In this role, the selected candidate will support local PR events and activities, trade shows, consumer sensory panel testing, executive product cuttings and foodservice product presentations and ideation sessions for top tier customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for
supporting the executive chef in leading a team of culinary professionals that deliver high-quality, great tasting food. Inspire and motivate daily excellence in culinary operations. Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are met. Utilize experience and talent to help restaurant reach their financial goals through skilled management in the categories of labor, food cost and ordering. The sous chef contributes to building top line sales and guest count through the delivery of a competitively superior team member and guest experience.
In this role, the selected candidate will continually stretch the creativity and culinary expertise of the team by challenging new menu presentations, overseeing development of menu changes and seasonality presentations, incorporating best-in-class ideas and maintaining a world-class attitude toward quality and innovation.
