In this role, the selected candidate will provide direction and assistance to VMRF Principal Investigators (PIs), Investigators and their staff regarding sponsored research administration and compliance; assist with internal training development both for Post Award staff as well as Investigators and staff.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the life cycle of contracts ranging from products and services to highly complex outsourcing relationships with multiple vendors, contracts, and contract schedules.
The selected candidate must be able to work directly with customers in high-pressure situations, have strong analytic, organizational, time management, and communication skills; thrive in a team environment; and possess the willingness to put in the effort needed to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
In this role, the selected candidate must be responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating (in person and over conference calls), and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products.
In this role, you will maintain a thorough working knowledge of plan products, benefit packages, policies and procedures, contract requirements, and interprets this information to contracted providers.
In this role, you will be responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company and to maintain compliance with Company subcontract policy and department operating procedures.
In this role, you will reviews bids and proposals to ensure they meet company policy and customer solicitation requirements; determines the applicability of complex government laws and regulations to the companys contracts.
