As the Buyer/Planner, you will enjoy a varied and challenging role. Your primary responsibilities are to assist in regular supply planning, Global inventory management, and provide inventory reporting to internal stakeholders and Leadership.
The Process Analyst-Supply Chain will use his/her skills in supporting the process design, SCE application knowledge, development integration, testing and deployment, to focus on architecting a solution using Business Process Re-engineering techniques and methods to achieve a defined business outcome.
Quote customer turnkey, assembly and control inventory; process purchase orders and expedite backlogs; exercises judgment and working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchases at a price consistent with quality and quantity.
The ideal candidate will be an integral part of Supply Chain Management with our production programs; being a core performer in Supply Chain will require interface with program leadership, engineering, production control, customers and of course the supply base.
Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors; calculates costs of orders, and charges or forwards invoices to appropriate personnel.
Maintains regular visits and/or communication with suppliers to address and resolve any quality, process or quality issues in real time, and reports on the status of these areas to management on a regular and timely basis.
Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline of potential customers that will meet or exceed established quotas via prospecting, networking and referral activities within a regional market.
This position will have a critical role working closely with the Business across the Information Technology organization defining, delivering, and supporting IT Supply chain business solutions and supporting Roadmaps.
Use your manufacturing experience along with industry leading tools to support supplier delivery of flight worthy hardware by working as an intermediary between the engineering community and the supplier.
