In this role, you will develops reviews, revises, submits, and implements procedures, goals, and objectives for assigned nursing unit/units. Develops, submits, and administers budgets for assigned area.
Participate in the planning, development and management of operational and equipment budgets annually. Provides financial variance analysis reports in a timely manner. Reviews monthly financial statistics and plans expenditures according to budget limitations. Manages the ongoing implementation of approved plans.
Planning and supervising provision of treatment for patients (including regular review and notes in the patient's record) according to state guidelines with a strong emphasis on quality & customer service.
In this position, you will assist the Executive Director and other supervisory hospice personnel in the planning, implementation and evaluation of internal and community in-services and continuing education programs.
As a member of the Center Leadership Team, the CMD interacts and consults with other team members as it pertains to center activities such as interviewing, hiring, disciplinary process, coaching and other responsibilities as needed.
Provides medical leadership of all for utilization management, cost containment, and medical quality improvement activities. Performs medical review activities pertaining to utilization review, quality assurance, and medical review of complex, controversial, or experimental medical services.
