Knowledge of negotiation strategies and techniques, of contract administration and cost monitoring for large scope or high-dollar contracts; of systems and procedures used to evaluate a third-party vendor's performance; and of state laws and regulations relevant to the administration of state funds.
The Project / Program Manager is responsible for the overall technical project delivery of large integration projects in the Oracle Applications (Oracle EBS) area to support the onboarding of new acquisitions.
Ensure organizational and personnel adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, and the Overprint. Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all team members and across all teams.
Provide input and helps coordinate the Release Plan for the Emerson Process Oracle Environment as it relates to Project Activities. The Release plan coordinates all activities of for all changes as they progress from development, to testing, and finally, implemented into production. Acts as liaison between project team and the various PMO groups (i.e. Change Management, Application Support Group, and Instance Testing team).
Manages IT staff by communicating expectations; counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Manages and leverages the relationship with 3rd Party vendors to ensure achievement of domain objectives; may be responsible for vendor management activities including service agreements, staff augmentation and technology contracts.
