The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading IT consulting services based purchasing categories and will be able to implement best practices in areas such as cost management and supplier relationship management.
Leads and/or facilitates multi-functional teams as necessary to evaluate and complete projects. Leads the interaction with contractor/supplier candidates and incumbents for the solicitation and development of comprehensive and complete proposals.
The Category Manager develops critical insights and solutions for their assigned chain account(s) to grow the size and the value of the customers beer category, while capturing a disproportionate share of growth.
Maintains proficiency in and updates portions of enterprise information and knowledge repositories and processes (I.E. SAP); provides assistance as needed for reporting, planning, budgeting and personnel development.
