As the Quality Assurance Engineer your responsibilities include conducting thorough product testing and maintain agreed upon quality standards in order to provide the highest quality software products to both external and internal customers. Your passion for software quality allows you to create and modify automated test scripts based on manual test cases, functional requirements or existing functionality of the system.
In this role, the selected candidate will validate proper design and operation of our products using both black box and white box testing; design and execute automated and manual test cases from requirements.
Responsible for risk management documentation for assigned product line(s) or processes; identifies and updates failure modes and related process/product improvements by facilitating teams and implementing required changes.
As a Mission Assurance Engineer you will interface with Operations, Engineering, Program Managers, Supply Chain and Procurement on a daily basis writing inspection plans, writing up non-conformances, determining root cause and corrective actions, working with suppliers, and supplier audits.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide input in establishing program and/or project budget and timelines; monitor and report to management on project status, identify issues that may impede attainment of project goals, recommend and implement corrective measures.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
As directed by the Quality Manager, the Staff Quality Engineer I is accountable for supporting new product development and product maintenance through the application of Quality engineering skills for medical devices.
