In this role, you will design Engineering of (Precision Gear Systems) including Aerospace Actuators, Accessory Gearboxes and Propeller Drives. Other applications include Power Generation Gearboxes and Winch Drives.
This position will support mechanical analysis projects supporting the A-10 weapon system. Specifically, the engineer will provide analyses, planning and draft documentation to address mechanical systems safety, suitability, and effectiveness requirements.
In this role, you will support the implementation of new processes and automation projects to the manufacturing floor; install and validate new equipment, tooling and fixtures for existing manufacturing process changes or replication.
In this role, the selected candidate will review, analyze, and report to test director status of Systems Program Office, and developmental contractors GBSD systems documentation; assist in determining the capability of the system to withstand natural and man-made threat environments, and quantify the degree of impairment.
The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with manufacturing personnel to solve production issues on highly automated processes using data based problem solving techniques. Learn and understand requirement to determine product impacts and recommend disposition of the parts. Work in a cross functional team to develop and implement process improvements.
In this role, you will develop and execute audit plans, audit checklists, and audit reports to address manufacturing engineering per applicable industry standards, and/or New Entrant company standards.
