In this role, the selected candidate will provide expert level analysis of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
In this role, you will be responsible for security controls of the network infrastructure, accountable for ensuring controls are addressed, documented, implemented, and risk assessed. The selected candidate will maintain in-depth knowledge of center, division, and department systems, processes, utilities, and organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating network diagrams and documentation, perform site surveys, create parts list, configure and test equipment, coordinate outages and install/activate circuits and network equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible to develop algorithms used in modules incorporated into models associated with the research and development of technologies and systems, including traditional circuit switched networks, data networks, access technologies, wireless systems, the media to carry such services, the protocols required for the completion of transport and services, operation of networks, management of network resources, provisioning of resources, and traffic and performance modeling of such networks.
