The NCTC Senior Data Analyst position will perform a variety of advanced analytic activities using numerous large data sets to support a broad spectrum of efforts from tactical to strategic within the counterterrorism mission.
This position will be responsible for providing data analysis for the Information Technology department as well as assigned projects for business clients of Information Technology. As a senior team member, the senior data analyst will assume lead roles in data design and data modeling, oversee the work of all data analysts, and participate in the strategic planning around future development of the FGL applications environment.
The incumbent work with the sales team by analyzing data and monitoring production, building practices, procedures and support functions required to maintain the quality and timely delivery of information.

The Senior Data Analyst shall lead and perform complex analysis in development and operational contexts, and requires very strong analytic and technical design skills, as well as excellent business process documentation and interpersonal communication skills.
he role would require working in a matrix environment so candidates should have a demonstrated track record of partnering across a diverse set of stakeholders and project participants. Examples of these stakeholders would include Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Policy Groups, Operations, IT, Legal, and Finance/Accounting.
Review business requirements with project teams to propose and produce technical documentation such as data architecture, data modeling, data dictionary, source to target mapping with transformation rules, ETL data flow design, and test cases.
