In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate with FMS Country Representatives for weapons systems transportation support; providing planning and recommendations for each customer as needed to fulfill their Program's transportation requirements.
The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing asset management processes and systems for a large, complex, geographically distributed system of hardware devices and components consisting of multiple configurations.
Participates in developing acquisition plans, source selection documents (including evaluation criteria), Independent Government Cost Estimates, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids. Assists with the development of pre-award technical documentation (solicitation, IGCE, Technical Evaluation Plan (TEP) and Technical Evaluation Report).
Review aviation fleet support requirements, recommend levels of support across all pillars of logistics, and establish maintenance and supply requirements for fielded and planned systems and equipment.
Coordinate controlled and uncontrolled shipments to customer locations for installations. Detailed knowledge of warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, stocking, storing, and inventory of materials. Receives material and verifies count against accompanying documents.
