Responsible for performing a variety of general accounting functions for bshsI in accordance with general policies and procedures of the accounting department. Responsible for the review of journal entries and reconciliations of jr. Accountant and staff accountant.
Preparation of financial reports and related footnote disclosures in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States and applicable SEC rules and regulations in conjunction with DuPonts SEC filings. Management of benefit plan audits and financial statement filings for defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
Support and participate in the monthly financial statement close process for Business Unit or functional area of responsibility, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely as well as analyzing and reviewing financial statements and variances.
