In this role, you will perform post-operative checks, participates in daily rounds, writes daily progress notes, and places daily orders as agreed upon with designated neuroscience attending physician (neuroscience attending physician may be specialist in neurosurgery, orthospine, or medical neurology, who has agreed to serve as alternate supervising physician).
In this role, you must have have completed a Nurse Practitioner program at the Masters level, with Acute Care NP certification; eligibility for Maryland licensure and prior NP experience in adult critical care setting is necessary.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist Surgeon during surgical procedure by carrying out surgical functions as directed by the surgeon in order to ensure optimal results to the patient in clinic, ASC and area hospitals.
In this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, and have a minimum of two years experience in a critical care setting; with acute care NP certification or a Physician Assistant certification.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in caring for our patients. Responsibilities will include completing physical/ pre-operative examinations, examining and treating acute and chronic medical conditions, and contacting patients with test results and care plans.
